Tagkawayan, Quezon
August 26, 2017

Last August 26, 2017, the Primex Isle De Coco Foundation & Charity, Inc. saw its largest Medical & Dental Mission yet at Brgy. San Francisco in Tagkawayan, Quezon. Their fourth for the year, the mission saw Primex Organic Farmers and their families troop in from Tagkawayan in Quezon, Sta. Elena in Camarines Norte, and Del Gallego in Camarines Sur.

All told, the initiative provided physical exams and medical service to a total of 160 individuals—another step forward to enhancing the health of Filipino farmers and their families.

Primex extends its gratitude to Brgy. Captain Amando Maquiniana, the barangay security team, and the barangay health workers of Brgy. San Francisco, and the two volunteer physicians, Dr. Mateo and Dr. Siat. This project could not have succeeded without their care and support.

Bulan, Sorsogon
June 16, 2017

As part of its ongoing support for farmers, Primex Isle De Coco Foundation & Charity, Inc.’s CSR Team organized a Medical and Dental Mission last June 16, 2017 for the Organic Coconut Farmers in Bulan, Sorsogon.

Together with their families, farmers from Brgy. Calomagon, Brgy. Namo, and Brgy Recto in Bulan assembled as early as 9:00 AM to register and avail of free medical check-ups and doctor consultations. The mission successfully provided much-needed healthcare, treatment, and medications for 68 individuals.

Brgy. Captain Edna Dela Rosa expressed her gratitude for this program, as the farmers live in remote areas and thus have significant difficulty getting access to reliable medical treatment.

Likewise, Primex extends its deepest gratitude to the volunteers who took part in its initiative: local dentist Dr. Melchor Navarro, Family Nurse Practitioner Glenda Newhall, the Barangay Health Workers who took charge of registration and checking of vitals, and local trader Mr. Montalban, who provided his own residence as venue for the mission.
