Project Celebrations
We all understand and appreciate how life’s happiest moments deserved to be remembered and celebrated with gusto. Filipinos in particular love their celebrations—the festive air of celebrations brings people together in joy and cheer, letting them commemorate special occasions. However, extreme poverty can prove to be a barrier to many farmers, who lack the resources and wherewithal to truly enjoy celebrations, particularly during birthdays, Christmas, community-based fiestas, and other holidays.
Primex believes that our coconut farmers deserve the same right to celebrate life’s memorable moments, just like the rest of society. To wit, we launched Project Celebrations–a way of enabling our farmers to enjoy life’s special occasions through gifts, endowments of food, and special activities.
In this manner, we hope to give additional cheer to their lives, strengthen bonds within their community, and help them celebrate their occasions in their own special way.
